This may seem like a strange thing to post about but it was such an
exciting event that I couldn’t not share it with you. Last night, I
didn’t need to use my air-con and I was actually cold when I was
sleeping. COLD!! Amazing. I was looking forward to this moment. I
don’t know how long it’ll last but it’s still cool today. To be honest
I don’t know what the temperature is – it’s all relative… Okay.
That’s all I had to say. Thanks for listening.
Sounds like Tucson…well, maybe a bit worse. 🙂 I had to turn my fan off during the overnights about two weeks ago.

Hi Squeth! That’s great! We’re feeling warm today here in TV which is a nice change (about 20 C!). Miss you so much and am praying for you!>>Love the Lumkes 3

Ah, relief! I’m trying to warm myself up with hot chocolate and putting off going outside to do errands, raining and cold today! Only plus 8. Reading about your thai studies makes me thankful I don’t have to learn a new script. But I guess that’s coming next year! Yippee!>Jen

Snow tomorrow 😀 Everyone else is upset, but I love it! It’s great you’re getting some relief from the heat. May it continue!

My teachers at school have been doing almost exactly the same as you Jen!! They bundle up in their sweaters and jackets and put their fingers around their hot cup of coffee or milo attempting to warm up. Yesterday my teacher was breathing on her fingers “because they were numb.” Meanwhile I was “sabaay” (comfortable) and loving it. 🙂 >>On a sad note, a man in Thailand died the other night (in an area about 5 hours north of where I live) due to the cold. I think that night in his area it was 6 degrees celsius. I had never really thought about that happening here. Apparently he was crippled and not able to get a blanket or warm clothes. 😦
