one week

As of today, we’ve been living in our house for a week (above the the back view of our house – the one on the left). In many ways it still feels as if we just arrived (everything is everywhere and we’re still living out of our suitcases), but it also can feel as if we’ve been here for a long time (getting used to the cold water (and believe me it’s COLD) splash baths, waking up with the roosters, hearing our neighbours getting up for the day at 4am…) But I’m happy to be here. There’s a lot to adjust to – pray that God will give me extra grace and patience.

On Monday we head to Chiang Mai again. I need to go to the ministry of transportation there and change the ownership for my truck. I couldn’t do it when I was there last as certain paperwork hadn’t come in. Pray that all of that goes smoothly.
