Yesterday there was definitely more of a military presence than the day
before. I saw my first tank here when I was trying to turn off the
super hwy and there was a tank blocking the turn off. The soldiers
waved me on.
Later in the day I saw two more tanks outside of a school in the area.
Not sure why they were positioned there. As I went by, I also saw a
group of about 10 school girls dressed in something like girl scout
outfits, accompanied with a teacher, talking with the soldiers.
Last night I picked up Suzette and we went to meet Brent and his wife
Tawm for dinner. I can't remember the last time that all of us were
able to meet together. It's been years. So it was a nice reunion type
meal. 🙂
WOW! Tanks! sounds scary and exciting all at the same time and we are praying for your continued safety.
love, helen henry

I guess that’s the thing – it’s not scary. Although there are tanks out and soldiers scattered about, it is quite peaceful. They’re not threatening anyone.
Prayers are still appreciated though Helen. 🙂 Thank you!
