I was away in Chiang Mai and Bangkok last week – for errands and to renew my visa. I drove back home to Sop Soi on Sunday. While on my way home, I stopped in at a friend’s/colleague’s house for a few hours and spent some time with their family.

One of their sons, Cross, is about 7 years old and he’s certainly very mischievous and naughty. But cute. That was actually exactly how his Grandmother described him. “Haay na!”

While I was visiting, Cross came up to me and asked me to close my eyes and put out my hand. I wasn’t sure what to expect from him. What was he going to put in my hand?!

When I opened my eyes, I peered down into my hand and saw this tiny, green heart with white polka dots. So sweet!

  1. Hey,thanks for the comment and I love that Cross gave you a heart! How sweet! Also, I love, love, love the new pic as your header! It’s so beautiful. Is this on the way to Sop Soi? Wow, it’s so gorgeous. Praying that we can come visit!and you are welcome here anytime, I hope you know that!also, PJ and I are horrified at the size of that spider…thank God you are all right!!!!

  2. I’m afraid PJ won’t ever want to come visit – what with massive spiders and my stories of the cobra… Hope you’re all able to come visit at some point! 🙂The pic I had up before on my header was on the way to Napajat, not Sop Soi. It’s such a pretty drive – one of my favourites in the area!
