Never heard of her until someone suggested I get that acoustic album from Noisetrade. Pretty good stuff. She almost lost me the first few songs, but the album got better as it went on…at least, from a first-time listener point of view.
It took me several listens of another album of hers to get into her music. Some artists are like that I think – and those artists often end up being some of my favourites. 🙂
Have you heard of The Avett Brothers?? One of their albums is on sale on Amazon for 99 cents today apparently.
