  1. After I posted this, I started thinking… Here are my thoughts:

    It's better to write for God than for yourself or for the public… Writing for the public would mean you care too much about what other people think, and essentially you're serving that idol in your life. Writing for yourself would reflect a self-centeredness – you're your own idol… or might just be simply a cathartic release. Writing, with the goal to glorify God is entirely different. Your motivation is to serve Him. Hmm…


  2. Terrific quote. I have to admit, i probably think about my “public” too much sometimes and am not always totally transparent. Thanks for putting in on your blog. Also good comment too…Glorifying God through admission of our weakness, via honest writing? Hmmmm…indeed.
