where Bowie guards the house

In the village she and David would always sit/sleep on top of my truck.  Now that there’s no threat of dogs coming in the yard (because of the gate at the end of the driveway), Bowie hangs out underneath my truck.  She is becoming a fat cat.  Eat and sleep.  Fortunately for me I don’t have any rodent issues in my house in Chiang Mai, but I think Bowie would prefer having something to chase.  She’s attacked most of the geckos around the house – they’re all tailless* and running around my house now.

*Geckos can drop their tails so they can distract their predators and get away.  Long after the gecko tail has “fallen” off the gecko, it twitches and moves around on its own.
